As a result, some of the residents of the institution suffered from stomach pains and diarrhea - and needed medical treatment.

The Ministry of Health instructed the institution to file a complaint with the police.

The employee is of Arab origin and the possibility that the motive was actually nationalistic is being examined.

Meshaan's response: "The management of Meshaan Afel suspected that a member of the medical staff mixed laxatives into the drinks of the residents of the nursing department. After checking the cameras, it became clear that this was a brother known to the staff. The management of Meshaan immediately suspended the brother, reported to the Ministry of Health and filed a complaint with the police. At the same time, the home staff informed to the family members of the tenants".

"Fortunately, the residents who had diarrhea did not require hospitalization and their condition is now completely normal. The management of Mash'an takes the brother's behavior very seriously and has taken legal action with him using every legal tool at its disposal. This is alongside full cooperation with the police investigation and the inspection by the Ministry of Health."
