"Demonstrating is always lawful in a democracy but demonstrators must respect the rules: going and attacking a place where there are Israeli exhibitors is criminal."
This was stated by the deputy prime minister and foreign minister, Antonio Tajani, on Stasera Italia on Rete 4, commenting on yesterday's incidents in Vicenza.
"We are in a free country, open to entrepreneurs. Next week - he adds - I will be in Israel to celebrate Remembrance Day: on the anti-Semitism front there are worrying signs in Italy and Europe too".
