In the era of the

“
I feel balanced with men, I find that I have my place”
In front of Isabelle Ithurburu's microphone, Hélène de Fougerolles spoke frankly about the relationship she maintains with men, particularly in the professional world.
Asked about the abuse of certain directors towards actresses (an issue which holds a central place in cinema currently, notably following the Depardieu affair and the declarations of Judith Godrèche), the 50-year-old actress declared that she had nothing to note: “I had this chance.
I really played a game of trying to please, to turn, to be taken or to be chosen to be able to work, but it was never more than that.
I may have done one or two somewhat rotten castings, with people who took advantage of it, but it's part of the story, and it didn't affect me, I don't feel damaged, it doesn't is not something that I am going to claim,” she first confided, before adding, with a smile: “I played a game then I won quite a few roles.
I was happy to play that game because it worked.
Today, I see clearly that we have to play something else.”
Isabelle Ithurburu takes the opportunity to question him about his relationship with feminism.
Response from Hélène de Fougerolles: “That doesn’t speak to me at all.
I feel balanced with men, I find that I have my place.
I don’t have to fight to be equal, because I am.”
A speech considered too far removed from current struggles, which earned him the wrath of Internet users on the

“
A slightly libidinous producer”
This is not the first time that Hélène de Fougerolles has set the internet on fire with her positions on feminism.
A little over a year ago, it was on Solène Delinger's microphone, on Europe 1, that she created controversy.
Asked about the feminism prism of the TF1 series
Les Disparus de la Forêt Noire
, in which she played the leading female role, the actress replied: “I am not a feminist myself, I do not have a fight to fight with that, but I hear it.
Feeling desirable is what my job as an actress is all about.
And I've always played it so I could be engaged and earn a living.
So I can't be a feminist.
During this interview, the actress also returned to her meeting with producer Harvey Weinstein, convicted in 2020 for rape and sexual assault: “I met Harvey Weinstein too.
And I didn't go jogging.
Afterwards, I was lucky enough to perhaps come across a slightly libidinous producer, but there was no reason to complain.
I understood that he would have wanted… Me, I like feeling desired.
I never felt like a victim of that.
Some men may have been clumsy with me but we never went over the limit.
I'm lucky and knock on wood.
Without dwelling on his interpretation of the “limit”.
