The United States and the United Kingdom have conducted new large-scale air and missile attacks against the facilities of the pro-Iranian Shiite Houthi rebels in Yemen, in response to their raids against ships in the Red Sea: US media reported, citing sources from the two countries.
The US military launched several rounds of pre-emptive strikes against anti-ship missile sites that the Houthis were preparing to launch against ships of various countries last week.
But these attacks have failed to dissuade militants from continuing to attack commercial ships transiting the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
