The platforms most often involved in attacks related to the manipulation and interference of foreign information (Fimi) were Telegram and X, but this activity "has been observed on virtually all other large, new and niche platforms".
This is what emerges from the second report of the European External Action Service (EEAS) on Fimi threats which identifies and analyzes 750 Fimi incidents that occurred between December 2022 and November 2023.
The report explains how the method used is that of multiplatform coordination, in other words the authors of Fimi attacks seed, share and amplify the contents through a variety of channels.
Well, the identified channels, around 4 thousand, were active 9,800 times in the 750 cases analysed.
The most used platforms were Telegram (496 times) and on videos, Reddit and others.
