And 2024 will not be any different, with the next participation in the Sanremo festival with the song La Noia and a series of concerts in the clubs already announced.
A talent, hers, which is not just DNA, daughter of Mango and Laura Valente.
"I wear my surname with my head held high - says the 22-year-old with a smile - but I'm quite sure that my family origins have little to do with my artistic path".
And how can you blame her.
After participating in the latest edition of Amici (she came second overall, but first in singing) she achieved successes, a sold out tour and many rewards.
The icing on the cake was Amadeus' call.
"I'm not the type who creates a lot of expectations, I didn't believe in it that much - she says -. Now that I'm in it, however, I'm proud and I think I deserve it. I don't even think it's too early for me: I've experienced a lot of music, time and age are just numbers. Even the fact of being a woman makes me proud. I go with my head held high and free."
The strength of her project, she is convinced, "is sincerity: when it's there, it arrives".
The goal is not to disappoint anyone, "first and foremost my audience, it's thanks to them that I arrived at Ariston, then myself. And also Maria De Filippi, who gave me great help to get to this moment in my life. My victory will be getting off the stage and knowing that I have communicated something to people. It was when I felt the boredom was over that I realized I wanted to participate. I trust that my performance will leave me with no regrets."
La Noia, which is modeled on the rhythms of Colombian cumbia, already smells of a catchphrase, was signed jointly by Angelina and Madame, with the production of Dardust supported by EDD "A collaboration that produced the right song. The sound was consistent with the sense of piece and with the concept we wanted to express. The cumbia was a dance that was done in moments of difficulty, and therefore coincides with the idea of the ups and downs of our life, which do not allow us to get bored".
The song combines elements of tradition and contemporary sounds, with also forays into the musical imagination of the Balkans (with violin and classical guitar): Angelina therefore shows off a new artistic side.
A "family affair" Sanremo, where the father (who passed away in 2014) had debuted in 1985 among the New Proposals and where in 2007, mum and dad performed together in the duet evening with Chissà se nevica.
"At home I didn't ask for advice - explains the young artist who promises to also engage with Fantasanremo -, but no one has ever deluded me that that stage, the king of stages, was simple. I go with naturalness and naivety, but above all with enthusiasm that it is often forgotten due to sacredness and fear: I don't want to miss even a minute. I don't want to be assailed by anxiety or responsibility. I wait for the festival as if I were a child waiting for Christmas. Just the idea of seeing myself scares me."
For Sanremo Angelina Mango then prepared a surprise: in the center of the Ligurian town, in the week of the festival, La noioteca will be born: a place that will offer unusual activities, linked to the world of the singer-songwriter, to be experienced by investing one's boredom minutes.
And after the success of last autumn's tour - the first by an Italian artist to become a series on TikTok - she is ready to return live with a preview at the Fabrique in Milan on 14 April and then in autumn with Angelina Mango in the clubs in 2024.
