"We are faced with a true 'Counter-risorgimento', which denies the unity of Italy and betrays the South".
Thus the governor of Campania Vincenzo De Luca, who will hold a press conference tomorrow to launch "a mobilization campaign to defend the South and national unity".
Tomorrow, Thursday 25 January, at 11 am, a press conference will be held in the Sala De Sanctis of Palazzo Santa Lucia in which a mobilization campaign will be launched against the differentiated autonomy project which "splits Italy and represents a real political scam".
"Whoever talks about 'Nation' is betraying Italy and trampling on the South": this is the accusation of the governor of Campania.
"The first acts of this betrayal of the South - he points out - are already present: the Equalization Fund for the South has been drained; the Development and Cohesion Funds are blocked in the South, operational in the North; the shameful campaign of mystification on the real resources transferred to the South and on the administrative efficiency of the South, continues in a shameful manner to hide the de facto secession behind false data".
"We will relaunch the truth operation on North-South relations, we will launch the challenge on the issues of administrative efficiency.
We will propose, in this climate of total confusion, the five issues for which the Differentiated Autonomy splits Italy, and constitutes a real scam politics.
We will propose our alternative to autonomy: zero bureaucracy and a united Italy. We will also propose initiatives on a legislative and constitutional level to block the secessionist plan", concludes the president of the Campania Region.
