Setting aside some money for emergencies is never a bad idea.
However, many people also like to save money in the account.
Last but not least, inflation, which in addition to increased energy and food prices also affects all other areas of life, makes it significantly more difficult for consumers to save some money.
And yet, many people seem to be doing their best to continue to save an emergency fund.
Generation Z, among others, demonstrates exemplary savings behavior.

This emerges from a representative study by the
Bundesbank
, which covers the period from 2021.
According to a current study by the Bundesbank, the average balance in the current account depends not least on the age of the account owner.
