45 years have passed since Rami Portis released his masterful and ground-breaking debut album "Flunder" (which produced hits such as "Get off my TV screen", "Honey" and more), and on the occasion of the festive occasion he announced today (Thursday) that he is going on tour Special performances.
The 69-year-old singer-songwriter's original plan was for the year to be full of celebrations and special shows to match the rest of his extensive oeuvre, but the "Iron Swords" war took those original plans with it.
After thinking and realizing that life has its own power and that music has its own magic and healing, it was finally decided to start with the piece that started it all.
The concert tour will begin on March 24 at the new Barbie in the Jaffa port, after which it will continue throughout the country, in a show where the songs from the album will be performed along with songs from all eras.
Also, a renewed and expanded edition of "Flunder" will soon be released on a double vinyl record.
Guy, Portis' son, will join the tour as guitarist and vocals, while Anna Raz will be on drums, Danny Ever-Hadani will play keyboards and bass, and Uri Kutner will be in charge of the musical production - and also on bass guitar.
