Last year, Sébastien Ogier and Vincent Landais won, driving the Toyota Yaris WRC.

With nine titles to his name, the Frenchman is the main favorite, because Sébastien Loeb and Kalle Rovanperä are not participating in this new edition of the Monte-Carlo rally.

This season, the route is divided into seventeen special stages.

This Thursday afternoon, the drivers take the road towards Thoard, location of the first event.

After changing the tires in Digne-les-Bains, the competitors will set off at night to reach Saint-Geniez.

Later, the participants will leave Bayons, reaching Bréziers shortly before midnight.

The next day, the drivers completed six races, from Saint-Léger-les-Mélèzes to Quellenet.

On Saturday January 24, the planned route is also divided into six special stages, for a total of 120.40 km.

Finally, the rally ends on Sunday with the last three stages, which connect La Bréole to the Col de Turin, located to the north of Monaco.
