A Rewe warns its customers about a bad habit that is related to the deposit voucher.
But this attempt could backfire.
Kassel – Annoying habits: There are almost as many as there are people.
But it becomes particularly annoying when people show off their quirks and quirks in public.
Supermarkets like Rewe, Kaufland and Edeka can also sing a song about this.
A Kaufland store recently tried to use a note to get its customers not to forget to weigh themselves.
A Rewe customer, however, was annoyed because she felt patronized by a notice in the supermarket.
The current case is about a quirk that is particularly likely to annoy the cashiers at Rewe and Co.
A sign on the deposit machine is supposed to help, but is it successful?
According to some users, the attempt could backfire.
Rewe employees are trying to break customers of an annoying habit with a notice - with success?
A Rewe customer showed a photo of the notice on Reddit.
The bold letters on the white background read: “Please do not put empties in your mouth!”.
He explains that his snapshot comes from a Rewe in Hameln.
The comments quickly reveal that the quirk isn't limited to this supermarket.
“REWE Taunusstein similar note,” commented one user and added: “It makes me want to try it.
“It’s definitely a secret superfood.”
So is the “educational attempt” at Rewe backfiring?
Note in Rewe causes customers to laugh: “I always do that”
And the reason for the notice seems to be quickly found: “I can imagine that some people put the receipt between their lips while they use their two hands to put away bags or zip up their backpack, etc.
And at the checkout the staff grabs a damp spot, or lipstick sticks to the receipt,” one explains the problem.
Another feels caught and explains with a smile: “Always do that.
"I've never been able to pack away 5 bags with 1 hand."
Others see another problem.
Because they miss another sign on the Rewe deposit machine: “You have to stick a note under it saying 'Please put a sink next to the reverse vending machine',” is commented, and another adds: “Yes, these things are always like that Disgustingly covered with beer.” Who knows, maybe there will soon be another sign on the Rewe deposit machine in Hameln.
Speaking of deposit machines, a real savings professional from Kassel recently presented his very own deposit receipt trick.
