Tali Goulargant, a 23-year-old Israeli singer, will represent Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Golrent was born in Israel to an Israeli mother and a Jewish father, who immigrated to Israel from Peru when he was 17. However, Tali's family left the country when she was a child and, due to her parents' work, lived in Chile and Argentina, among other places, until 13 years ago they settled in Luxburg.

In the singing competition that will be held in Sweden in May, Golargant will sing the song Fighter.

The person behind it, among others, is the creator of the Eurovision 2019 hit Soldi, Dario Paini.

At first, the singer says that she wanted to compete in the competition with a song she wrote, but after it didn't pass the tests, she heard the song Fighter, and she quickly connected to it.

The dancers who perform with Golargant are Israeli and so is the choreographer Mor Hammi.

Luxembourg's declaration to return and compete in Eurovision was considered a real celebration in the kingdom.

In the interviews that Tali conducted, she says that at first she hesitated whether to enter the competition, but the push from her immediate environment encouraged her to try.

She also says that she feels great pride in representing Luxembourg but also feels Israeli.

According to her, her partner is Jewish and her brother serves as a fighter in the IDF who is now fighting in the Gaza Strip.

Luxembourg will return to the competition after 30 years.

The pre-Eurovision contest included several gestures to Israel, the most moving of which is the choice of the 1973 Eurovision winner, Anne-Marie David, to wear a yellow pin as a sign of solidarity with the abductees when she went on stage to sing.
