A vegetable and fruit stall in the Mahane Yehuda market area in Jerusalem, and a nearby warehouse, were recently sold for a total of approximately NIS 1.22 million.
These are two properties that were included in the estate of a recently deceased person.
The booth, with an area of 4.5 square meters, was sold for NIS 920,000. Does that sound high to you? It turns out that it is still lower than the market average, when the appraiser's estimate was NIS 930,000. The warehouse, with an area of 11 square meters, was sold for NIS 351,000.
The appraiser's estimate for it was NIS 300,000.
Together, as mentioned, the amount of the sale reaches approximately NIS 1.22 million.
The stand and the warehouse are in the market complex itself.
They are not adjacent, but adjacent to each other;
As of the moment of signing the sales contract, the Basta is rented for NIS 5,300 per month;
The warehouse is on Eshkol Street, and is not used by the booth staff - but by one of the restaurants in the complex, which pays NIS 1,800 a month for it.

"A settlement like this can easily exceed the million shekel mark," real estate appraiser Kobi Bir told the Calcalist website, which first published the news.
"A square meter in the center of the market, in stores with an area of 20-30 square meters, is priced at about NIS 200,000 per square meter. In smaller stores, it is difficult to estimate the price per square meter, because it is clear that each meter in them 'carries' more than the area it constitutes in practice.
Usually such small units are evaluated according to a 'living unit', which reflects a value that is about 20%-25% higher than the average price per square meter in the area."
