Monza-Sassuolo: the challenge
Monza comes from the heavy defeat on the Empoli pitch 3-0, Sassuolo instead arrives at today's match after the defeat against Juventus two weeks ago after missing the 21st matchday due to of Napoli's commitment to the Super Cup.
Monza is only one of the two teams, together with Livorno (two defeats out of two), against which Sassuolo has never won in Serie A: two victories in Brianza and a draw in three previous matches in the top division.

Palladino: it's absurd to talk about Monza's crisis
The Monza market is closed.
Raffaele Palladino, coach of Monza, said this on the eve of the match against Sassuolo, also returning to the sender the hypotheses of a crisis in his team after the defeat against Empoli.
"We have completed each other, I am happy with the squad. Now we have a more complete team in terms of characteristics. Djuric is a powerful attacker, he allows us to make maneuvers and with him we can also think of different tactical solutions that we didn't have", explains the coach of the Brianza team.
Palladino also talks about the other new arrivals.
"Zerbin is very flexible as a midfielder, he immediately made himself available, I like him a lot, he can also play as an attacking midfielder on the left. Popovic has followed a different path and doesn't have match pace."
As for the alleged crisis, the coach defines it as "absurd to talk about these topics, the last four we drew in Naples and won in Frosinone. In Empoli we made mistakes, but I look at the numbers: we are eight points from safety and we have one point less than last championship, football has a short memory - he adds -. I know only one way to silence those who say these things: daily work, to try to get out of a, let's call it, negative moment. But without drama.
