“I love Castex”, quips comedian Waly Dia, a few days after the censorship of the poster for his show “Une hour àkill”.
This Thursday, January 25, the comedian's show poster was censored by the advertising agency of RATP and SNCF.
According to the Mediatransport authority, the poster contained “a political character incompatible with the duty of neutrality which is required in public transport”.
Poster modified for the RATP, it should work this time.

The face of the comedian, who notably works on France Inter, was tattooed with phrases such as “I am like the IGPN, I am not here to put the police on trial” or “Macron, he is like a father alcoholic, at home he ruins your life, outside he shames you.”

The poster for the Waly Dia show refused by the RATP
In reaction to this decision, the comedian produced a new poster with an ironic tone.
We can read “I love Castex” or even “don’t criticize Macron and the police on posters.
You risk getting banned very badly.”
The title of the show also changed for the occasion: “An hour to kill” was transformed into “An hour late”, in reference to the conditions of underground transport.
