This weekend, Yves, a 56-year-old truck driver, was unable to return home.
Having left Lyon on Friday morning to deliver his goods to Bordeaux the same evening, he did not arrive at his destination until the following evening due to blockades led by farmers.
“As I could only unload on Monday, I slept in the truck all weekend at a rest area on the Bordeaux ring road,” he tells Le Parisien.
A situation that many drivers are experiencing in recent days.
