Angelique is a huge Harry Potter fan.

She has dedicated a room in her apartment entirely to the topic.

How much magic can a fan take?

If Angelique has her way, a lot, with room for improvement.

On her Instagram account @magieverliebt she shows herself and her Harry Potter themed room.

In recent years, the 29-year-old, who describes herself as a “Potterhead,” has invested a large sum in collectibles that turn a room into a true Harry Potter (fan) dream.

In an interview, she explains how she got here.

Harry Potter has fascinated Angelique for a long time.

She actively shares her fascination with the magical world on Instagram, where she has around 12,000 followers.

In her posts she shares insights into the themed room, which not only includes the jewelry editions.

Countless collector's items, including many figures, line the walls of the room.

The shelves are brightened up by the illustrated editions of the Harry Potter volumes.

Many readers are also wondering whether there will be a sequel to the Harry Potter series.

When did you start collecting?

I started collecting around 2015, but it became really “excessive” in 2018 when I dedicated a separate room in my apartment to my collection.

Since then, the collection has been growing steadily and thanks to social media I have been able to experience a lot.

I was invited to events, made friends, had newspaper interviews and even received an inquiry from RTL Hessen.

How much money is in the collection?

Now it's probably several thousand euros, but I'm lucky that a lot of the collection is now made available to me by companies.

What item are you particularly proud of?

I have a collectible that probably no one else has.

The luggage carts for Harry Potter were made by a German company.

This company invited me out a few years ago and then gave me a Harry Potter luggage cart sticker.

I don't think anyone else has that.

Over the past few months, she has met many like-minded people through her posts with whom she can exchange ideas about her passion.

Around five years ago, Angelique posted her first post on Instagram showing her with a new Hogwarts tattoo.

The lower area shows an open book with the towers of Hogwarts rising from the pages.

She received almost 2,800 likes for her first post.

The other social media activities are also accompanied by many comments.

Certain merchandise products can be purchased at a discounted price via a list of links in your profile.

The followers are enthusiastic about the collection, as some voices under the posts show:

  • Wonderful 🥺♥️

  • Wow what an amazing collection 😍

  • Very very nice!!!
