Not so “failing” after all, parents?
In its second barometer made public this Thursday, February 1 (carried out in November among 602 parents and 300 early childhood professionals), a few days before Safer Internet Day
(
International Day for a Safer Internet
),
the Children's Foundation , in partnership with Ifop, notes that most parents of very young children try – even if they do not always succeed – to put in place a framework and rules at home to limit the use of tablets , telephones and others.

Among them, 65% are aware of the risks associated with too much exposure and supervise their children's access.
Interesting detail: the younger the parents are, having grown up in a very connected world, the more demanding they seem: 58% of 25-34 year olds declare themselves “very strict” (compared to 51% of 35-49 year olds).
