In the international art auctions of the first half of 2023, all sectors lost share compared to the previous year, but not the Old Masters segment, confirming an increasingly evident interest in classical art: ancient works prove a safe haven asset, a safe investment.
In this scenario of comeback for ancient art, Modenantiquaria returns, the longest-running and most visited international event dedicated to Fine Antiques in Italy, which from 10 to 18 February at ModenaFiere renews the appointment for the 37th edition of experts in the sector , designers and art lovers.
Modenantiquaria is flanked by and completed by the Petra salon, in its thirtieth edition, with a new concept dedicated to outdoor design and landscape, and the third edition of Sculptura, a section with Italian masterpieces from the 13th to the 20th century.
There will be 120 galleries present, from Italy and abroad, "a perfect combination of art, passion and business" as anticipated by the CEO of ModenaFiere, Marco Momoli.
