Since the hospitalization of Kate Middleton on January 16, followed by the announcement of Charles III's cancer on February 5, the crown prince had suspended his public functions.

, it was above all towards his loved ones that William wanted to remain focused: “The prince has always made it clear that his priority was to support his wife and his family for the moment”.

Earlier in the day, before going to the London Air Ambulance gala dinner, he notably replaced Charles III and presented no less than 50 decorations to Windsor Castle.
Some sources specify that William should stay at Windsor for “several weeks”, particularly until the king can return to the forefront.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the Prince of Wales has no other obligations planned this week and will be with Kate and their children again next week, for the holidays.
