Swisscom, the Swiss TLC operator, closes 2023 with "a solid Swiss core business" and the Italian subsidiary Fastweb which, underlines a note, "continues to record good results".
Net profit increased by 6.7% to 1711 million Swiss francs compared to the previous year.
The increase in Ebitda was partly offset by higher depreciation and amortization and a lower financial result.
Compared to the previous year, the group's turnover increased slightly by 0.2%, amounting to 11,072 million Swiss francs.
In the Swiss core business, turnover suffered a slight decline, amounting to 8,146 million francs (-0.8%).
Revenue from telecommunications services fell by 1.3% overall to 5,377 million francs, while revenue from IT services for business customers rose by 32 million CHF (+2.8%).
Activity in Italy continues to record a positive trend.
Compared to the previous year, Fastweb's turnover growth was 6.1% to 2,633 million euros.
