We must "also wait for the discussion with the shareholders, which is still underway, and which could possibly lead to a solution which must in any case guarantee the relaunch of production, employment and environmental reconversion. But the road to extraordinary administration has been opened. If there are no other solutions in the meantime, equally significant for the guarantees of industrial and employment relaunch, after having safeguarded the companies' credits we will proceed in the direction of administration".
This was declared by the Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, after his speech in the Industry Committee of the Senate where the decrees on the former Ilva are being examined.
"All the tools for the administration have been activated", underlined Urso.
"I was surprised to learn that the CEO of Acciaierie d'Italia (Lucia Morselli) did not even come to the hearing to give the information that Parliament deemed necessary. This information was not even given to the public shareholder and the commissioners plant owners. What is useful and necessary is for everyone to participate fully."
added Urso.
