Record number of exhibitors for the 31st Chianti Classico Collection, the preview of the famous Tuscan wine which returns to the Stazione Leopolda in Florence on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th February: 211 Gallo Nero companies will be present, for a total of 773 labels for tasting, of which 172 are Chianti Classico Riserva and 151 Gran Selezione, with 36 preview samples of the 2023 harvest.
New this year, states in a note the Consorzio VinoChianti Classico which this year celebrates the centenary of its foundation, is the return to opening to the public for interacted on 16 February, with the possibility for all guests of the event to take home some of the ChiantiClassicos tasted, thanks to the planned sale to the public of a selection of the labels presented as part of the Leopolda.
As usual, the Collection also includes some moments of in-depth analysis for sector operators and the press: the 'Ten years of Gran Selezione' seminar on the first day, and an in-depth study on Chianti Classico Dop Oil on the second.
Finally, the 'Chianti ClassicoCentury' exhibition will be presented as a preview, which traces the first hundred years of the Consortium through the thoughts of its presidents.
