Russian forces launched 16 kamikaze drones against Ukraine during the night, 10 of which were shot down by Kiev's air defenses: the Ukrainian Air Force announced this on Telegram.
The drones, of the Shahed-136/131 type, were launched from Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea and from the Russian Kursk region.
Ukrainian forces destroyed 10 Russian drones in the Mykolaiv, Kherson and Kharkiv regions.
On the Russian side, Russian Telegram channels, reports Ukrinform, talk about a drone over an oil refinery in the Russian city of Ilsk, in the Kranodar area (south).
Local eyewitnesses say the drone crashed into the refinery complex at around 2am (midnight in Italy), causing an explosion and subsequent fire.
An hour later the flames had been put out.
So far, no injuries or victims have been reported.
Eyewitnesses also claimed to have heard a "loud noise" in the area of the Afipsky oil refinery, also in the Krasnodar area.
