7 million fine for advertising on heated tobacco devices (ANSA)
The Antitrust has fined British American Tobacco Italia 6 million euros and Amazon EU 1 million euros for misleading advertising of the heated tobacco devices Glo Hyper Glo and on the Amazon.it website.
The companies, the Authority explains in a note, advertised the devices "denying, omitting or not highlighting the information relating to tobacco/nicotine consumption connected to the use of such devices and the prohibition of sale to minors".
