Lily was 15 years old.
On January 25, after a first suicide attempt, the young girl hanged herself in her room, putting an end to a life of ruptures in the most brutal way.
The teenager was taken from her mother's care at the age of 3 and had been monitored by Child Welfare (ASE) ever since.
In recent weeks, she has been living at the Lou Tassou, a hotel in Aubière, near Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme), which has made a specialty of welcoming young people from the ASE.
The establishment has even signed an agreement with the department.
“This placement was a stopgap to avoid the street,” notes prosecutor Dominique Puechmaille.
