The board of directors of the Stretto di Messina spa company met.
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport announced this in a note, underlining how it is "a meeting of great importance, because the green light is expected for the updated and definitive project of the stable connection between Sicily and Calabria".
For this reason, the deputy prime minister and minister Matteo Salvini - the MIT says - will also meet the presidents of Calabria and the Sicilian Region and the mayors of Villa San Giovanni and Messina in the next few hours.
