The Foreign Minister of Venezuela, Yvan Gil, announced that the government has decided to suspend the activities of the technical consultancy office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in the country.
Telesur reports it.
Likewise, Gil reported that in the next 30 days he will carry out a comprehensive review of the terms of technical cooperation described in the letter of understanding signed with the office.
For this reason, he has asked that the personnel leave the country within the next 72 hours until he has publicly rectified his attitude before the international community.
