Following Agcom's intervention, TikTok removed the latest videos on the platform relating to the so-called "French scar".
These are challenges between very young people bordering on self-harm.
The challenge consisted of continuously and violently tightening the skin of the cheeks until bruises were caused on the cheekbones.
It is the first provision - Agcom informs - in application of the new regulation on platforms, implementing TUSMA, on the basis of which Agcom can limit the circulation of videos harmful to minors.
