Great Italy again in Crans Montana.
After the double in the downhill, the Italian podium was also in the super-G with Federica Brignone 2nd in 1.16.56 and Marta Bassino 3rd in 1.16.65.
For Brignone it is the 65th podium of her career while for Bassino it is the thirtieth.
She won in 1.16.52, with just four hundredths of an advantage over Brignone equal to 102 centimeters, the Austrian Stephanie Venier, the third success of her career.
Next weekend two more super-Gs, a discipline in which the games for winning the cup are still open and Italy has Brignone in full swing to win it with four races remaining until the end of the season.
Also in the rankings for Italy - on a course that is always difficult, varied and spectacular - are Laura Pirovano 11th in 1.17.56, Roberta Melesi 13th in 1.17.72.
Further back Nicol Delago and Teresa Runggaldier in 1.18.83.
The women's world cup now returns to Italy, to Trentino, to Val di Fassa.
Next Saturday and Sunday there will be two more super-Gs, a discipline in which the games for winning the discipline cup are still completely open and Italy has Federica Brignone in full swing to win it with four races left until the end of the season.
In Val di Fassa we will also see if American Mikaela Shiffrin will return to competition after the bad fall in Cortina.
Without her, the Swiss Lara Gut-Behrami - currently 6th - would have a clear path to winning her second major world cup.
