Yemen's Houthi rebels have announced that the group has officially designated the United States and the United Kingdom as enemy countries for their support for Israel.

Houthi President Mahdi Al-Mashat has ratified a law stating that he will deal with both Western countries "according to the principle of confrontation".
The news comes as the Houthis continue to express support for the Palestinians and target ships in the Red Sea believed to have links to Israel.
Many countries have condemned the Houthi attacks and their impact on global trade, with the US and UK responding by striking the group at sea and in Yemen.
