On the statements of the former president of Russia Dmitry Medvedev on the fact that Russian troops could push as far as Kiev "we can simply recommend some counseling and mental assistance, but I am not sure that the Russian state with the billions it wastes in this illegal war against Ukraine can actually afford to invest something in social and healthcare assistance for your people".
Peter Stano, spokesman for the European Commission for Foreign Affairs, said this during a briefing with the press, defining Medvedev as "an eternal number two".
