The Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi arrived in Crotone this morning without any warning to bring flowers to the grave of Alì, the newborn who died in the Cutro shipwreck and is buried in the Crotone cemetery.
The minister avoided meeting journalists already in Crotone for the anniversary of the shipwreck and the visit became known only after its conclusion.
Piantedosi then went to the Alì garden made up of 94 trees (as many as the victims) which the Municipality of Crotone will inaugurate on Sunday.
Then to the Cutro cemetery where some victims are buried.
After stopping at Steccato di Cutro beach he set off again.
