A Palestinian source told Sky News Arabia that it is likely that the government of Palestinian Authority (PA) Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh could resign soon to favor a new Palestinian government of technologists by the end of this week.
According to the broadcaster, these developments reinforce reports that Hamas agreed last week to the formation of a caretaker government whose mission is to rebuild Gaza and restore security after the war.
SkyNews Arabia sources suggest that the head of the Palestine InvestmentFund, Muhammad Mustafa, would be in charge of forming the government.
