Confartigianato "is against the establishment of a credit license in construction, a measure announced today by the government during discussions with the social parties".
The confederation of artisans and small businesses "disputes it, judging it to be a cumbersome mechanism full of uncertainties and application gaps, destined not to produce any positive results in terms of reducing accidents, while it risks turning into yet another bureaucratic burden on the shoulders of building contractors, in particular the small businesses, which duplicates economic burdens and administrative obligations compared to those that already exist".
"Safety at work - Confartigianato continues - is important to us entrepreneurs first and foremost and is not protected with bureaucracy, but with respect for rules which must be clear and applicable, with joint bodies between business organizations and workers' unions, with prevention and training, with the correct application of national employment contracts in the sector, through business associations that spread the culture of legality, cross-referencing the many existing databases to put in place an effective national prevention plan, with a work inspection system strengthened and without unnecessary duplication of skills".
