The authorities of the City and Province of Buenos Aires reviewed the adjustment authorized for March in the fees of schools that receive state contributions.
Starting in March, Buenos Aires institutes will have to
pay 50% more than in December
.
And in Buenos Aires educational centers the fee will have a modification upwards of the
average 40%.
In December the authorities had authorized a 30% adjustment, but the inflationary outbreak of December and January left that percentage outdated.
That is why the entities that bring together the schools requested a modification of the fee schedules.
As reported this Monday by Aiepba, the association that brings together schools from CABA and PBA, the ministries of education of both jurisdictions endorsed readjustments: 20% more for those in the territory governed by Axel Kicillof and 10% more for centers located in Buenos Aires territory.
The maedida affects some 4,800 schools operating in Buenos Aires, where 1.3 million children and adolescents are enrolled.
They are those that receive government subsidies to pay for part or all of the teaching staff.
And about 400 educational units in CABA where 300 thousand students attend.
