In the language of real estate agents, this is an exceptional property.
The building, which dates from 1964, is located in the very chic 7th arrondissement, not far from ministries, embassies and even Matignon.
The breathtaking view overlooks the Seine, but also the Tuileries garden and the Louvre.
The apartment has a gigantic living room, filled with countless books, a dressing room, a kitchen, a shower room, a bathroom and a sleeping area overlooking the courtyard, all in an avant-garde style “which embodies Lagerfeld’s visionary aesthetic”, according to the details of the notaries in charge of the sale.
Place of creation
“This property, formerly used, among other things, as a creative workshop by the legendary Karl Lagerfeld, was the scene of his iconic creations, offering a place conducive to his inventiveness,” they specify in the same press release.
The auction is scheduled for March 26 at the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
While the places are said to always be imbued with the soul of the creator who died at the age of 85, we assume, without going too far, that the apartment-workshop will find a buyer in a few moments.
