Police fired several tear gas grenades on the road from the rooftop of Tsim Sha Tsui Police Station. At that time, there were still cars driving on the road, and some cars had sudden brakes and U-turns. When protesters and passers-by dispersed, people and cars competed for the road.

Demonstrators picked up tear gas grenades that were still smoking, threw them in the direction of the police station, and then dispersed in other directions.
