Police arrested two 13-year-old boys for painting in a car park in Kwai Chung. At 3:45 pm, the police received a report from a 39-year-old female security guard at the parking lot of Haojingtai, 11 Ligang Street, Kwai Chung, saying that the exterior wall and stairs of the upper site had been painted. A 13-year-old boy and a spray paint was seized in one of them. After preliminary investigation, the two boys were arrested for criminal damage and the case was referred to the Kwai Tsing Police District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up.

Zuyao District Councilman Cai Yawen went to the Kwai Chung Police Station to follow up the incident. He alleged that the arrested boy was arrested suspected to be related to the graffiti "Recovery of Hong Kong" in the parking lot of Ho King Terrace. Cai Yawen said that a lawyer had been present to handle the case, and the parents of the two boys were aware of the incident and are currently following up.
