In a fire that broke out this afternoon (Sunday) in an apartment building on Yehuda Maccabi Street in Nahariya, a 4-year-old boy was severely injured by burns and smoke inhalation. A 50-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman smoke inhalation were injured in the incident. The three were evacuated by MDA staff to the "Galilee" medical center in Nahariya and transferred to the shock room.
At the same time, fire control was achieved and no other trapped persons were found.
Paramedic MDA Zvi Singer and emergency medical paramedic Nir Dai said: "When we arrived, we saw thick black smoke billowing from the windows of the apartment. He was taken to the hospital when his condition was severe.
