Cellcom management reached a conclusion with the Maya Yaniv Workers' Committee on an innovative plan, "Mifneh", in which the threat of layoffs on the company's employees was removed. For the first time in Israel, a large (non-governmental) business company will be appointed a director on behalf of the employees.

The main goal of the program is to strive for operational excellence and dramatically improve the level of service to the company's customers, which will enable rapid growth and entry into other areas of activity. In order to achieve the program goals, the parties decided to make organizational changes in coordination with the employee representative, and to embark on a new voluntary retirement plan under unique conditions under which up to 450 employees will retire. Total package value: NIS 42 million.

According to the CEO of the company, Avi Gabay, "A turning plan will strengthen Cellcom and secure its future as a leading company facing customers." Maya Yaniv: "My father's entry into office is the dawn of a new day. I believe in my father and the management of the company, and I am confident that the collaboration and the 'turnaround' program we created together will bring Cellcom Group back to the King's Road.
