Update from February 6: After Milla Jovovich supported Heidi Klum in the jury in the first GNTM episode, two model helpers followed in a row: Stella Maxwell (29). GNTM Jury 2020: These celebrities support Heidi Klum - Julien McDonald supports Heidi Klum in episode one
Munich - The test run of the new jury concept has obviously proven itself in the past year, because in 2020 there should be no other GNTM jury besides Heidi Klum . Instead, a different star appears in each episode, who supports the top model with advice and action. One or the other celebrity fans of GNTM should already know from previous seasons, while others pass on their expert knowledge for the first time as part of the show.
Heidi Klum gets help from several stars
The well-known constellation of three permanent jury members has been a thing of the past for two seasons. Over ten seasons, Heidi Klum, together with two other experts from the modeling industry, decided on the fate of the candidates. She was assisted by Peyman Amin , Wolfgang Joop and Thomas Hayo, among others.
The first big change finally came in 2016: The jurors Thomas Hayo and Michael Michalsky formed their own model teams, which had to compete against each other in competitions. Heidi Klum always acted as a neutral jury member.
The concept held out for three years until it was changed again in 2019: Top model mom Heidi * took over the coaching in season 14 on her own - at least almost. In each episode she got professional help from a new celebrity who not only had a say in the decision, but also helped the candidates with valuable tips. Stefanie Giesinger , Lena Gercke , Gisele Bündchen , Paris Hilton , Thomas Gottschalk and Bill Kaulitz were among the participants.
In 2020, the makers of GNTM will not dare to experiment with the composition of the jury. This is the new 2020 jury
Like last year, ProSieben keeps a few names of prominent guests secret until the end. However, a few stars have already been announced. These coaches support Heidi Klum in season 15 of GNTM :
- Milla Jovovich: If the American with Serbian and Russian roots is not exactly fighting zombies in the "Resident Evil" films, she is sometimes a model in front of the camera. Her extensive experience in the fashion and acting industry should be of great help to the GNTM candidates.

- Joan Smalls: Of course, Stella Maxwell is not the only model who will advise the candidates with plenty of practical experience. Puerto Rican Joan Smalls also knows what makes a good model. She has already worked with well-known designers such as Gucci, H&M and Chanel.
What are the consequences of the GNTM guests?
ProSieben does not yet reveal when the individual guests will be seen. However, trailers from the first episode show designers Julien MacDonald and Milla Jovovich alongside Heidi Klum. The two will have their grand entrance on January 30th . Julien McDonald will organize a fashion show with the 38 models. After that, the first GNTM candidates have to pack their bags again. In episode two, however, there are three women who move up. One of them is Maribel, who is struggling with a family tragedy.
GNTM 2020 - All important information about the 15th season
GNTM starts earlier this year than expected, namely on January 30th. Further episodes always appear on ProSieben on Thursdays. The grand finale is expected to take place in spring, in which it will be decided who will follow in the footsteps of last year's GNTM winner Simone.
By the way: Only recently did a former show candidate comment on her time at GNTM - and reveal unpleasant truths. ProSieben stumbled upon this statement by candidate Aline - the TV station failed miserably on the girl's dialect.
The question of guest judge Julien Macdonald may have been uncomfortable during the casting. He asked a candidate that Heidi Klum wanted to lay the future with tarot cards whether the top model will have a baby with her husband Tom Kaulitz. It is not known whether Tom Kaulitz will have an appearance this year as in the 2019 final.
