The coronavirus has become a real headache that leaves a significant number of victims on the road, but also indications that point to the Chinese government of having been able to prevent its spread and not do so, which would make it directly responsible for deaths and the great collateral damage that the virus is causing.

  • LOOK: How Chinese doctor Li Wenliang, who warned about the coronavirus, died twice in Chinese state media

It turns out that Li Wenliang, a Chinese doctor, who at the end of December 2019 triggered the alarms on the coronavirus, died from contagion of a patient. The story is very cruel, because Li, when he made the matter public, was interrogated by the police, and was made to sign a letter of reprimand where he was accused of "[...] spreading rumors online" and "[...] disturbing seriously the social order ”. For its part, the Chinese government, which controls all the information and also misinforms, wants to generate terror in the population by proposing to investigate the numerous tributes of affection in memory of the doctor.

On this side of the world, President Donald Trump suddenly appears on social networks defending the president of China, Xi Jinping, highlighting "his efforts to control the coronavirus." Definitely, the world moves only for interests.

I wonder: What would have happened if it were not about China and if Li Wenliang had been a doctor from any third world country, for example? Surely the convictions and sanctions of the UN and the international community would have already occurred. What a pity!

The coronavirus reveals the defenselessness of humanity in situations such as these, which cannot be avoided with anti-aircraft batteries, or braking with tanks, so one of the reflections is the obvious need to implement a protocol to combat these risks and obviously, work with science to find immediate solutions when these phenomena are detected.

Hopefully it is not too late for humanity to invest more in "the war against diseases" and avoid a possible inoculation and spread of the virus that can lead to so-called asymmetric wars.

Enough of "killing the messengers"! Li Wenliang is a martyr; A hero who acted correctly. May his sacrifice serve to reveal what is also happening in China. This is unacceptable.
