Bamberg - A bad accident occurred on Saturday (March 14th) in the Bamberg district . According to initial information, a collision between a motorcycle and a car occurred on the B26 between Viereth and Trostdorf. The accident happened on the corner of Industriestrasse, the motorcycle crashed into the right rear side of the vehicle.

The motorcyclist was traveling from Trostdorf towards Viereth when the driver, who was traveling in the opposite lane, wanted to turn left into Industriestraße. According to initial information, the driver overlooked the motorcycle, and there was a collision. The motorcycle crashed into the car with full force and hurled a few meters further.

A rescue helicopter landed at the scene of the accident, but the emergency doctor decided to take the motorcyclist to a clinic in the ambulance. The driver also came to a hospital. The B26 and Industriestrasse were closed, and an on-site expert started the investigation.
