"If you don't know where the disease is at the beginning of the outbreak, you have no chance of controlling it," explained Nid Adilia, a disease specialist at Boston University's School of Medicine for the Atlantic. "Even today the amount of testing is due to our Achilles, which is hurting every step of our response," she added.

The financial aid will be directed, among other things, to the provision of food for the Passover for some 180,000 people in need in the New York Jewish community. The aid also includes the establishment of a special $ 20 million loan fund that will offer zero-interest loans to Jewish Federation affiliates and small businesses. This loan fund is designed to stabilize the financial condition of nonprofit organizations that provide essential health and welfare services to millions of New Yorkers.
