The faction of the initiative for Pliening has already shrunk after the constituent council meeting: Beatrice Merk has left the IfP.
Pliening - Beatrice Merk, who ran in the municipal election for the Initiative for Pliening (IfP) and was elected to the local council, has left the group of voters. This was announced by IfP chairman and community council spokesman Markus Uffinger on Friday. "Ms. Merk announced her resignation in a letter dated May 14 and has resigned from all offices in our electoral group," said Uffinger. She was 2nd Chair of the IfP and parliamentary group member. For the time being, says Uffinger, she will continue as a party-free councilor. Merk surprisingly announced in the constituent council meeting that she wanted to leave the IfP soon. Now she has taken this step.
Markus Uffinger and Doris Löffler are still on the local council for the IfP.
