100 days are the classic occasion to take stock.

How did the initial phase go?

Stadtwerke boss Jan Dühring sees many positive things.

Mr. Dühring, how do you rate the first 100 days?

What went well, what can be improved?

Jan Dühring:

think the first 100 days went well.

All in all, I think that thanks in particular to the work of the swimming pool team, things got off to a good start.

After all, not only is the bathroom brand new, the crew has never worked together in this form either.

However, one must honestly say that there is a steeper learning curve at the beginning.

You notice little things everywhere that you can improve.

Some processes in the team also have to be automated.

But we are creative and try to be flexible in order to find new solutions.

I'm thinking of numerous other coat hooks throughout the bathroom and so on.

Have you already got the first figures, for example with a view to visitors or energy consumption?

Dühring:

I don't yet have any figures on the consumption values, although it can be assumed that there will be increased expenditure overall.

This has to do with the corona protection measures, among other things, since the ventilation, unlike usual, is operated with a lot of fresh air.

That is of course reflected.

As far as visitors are concerned, we also expect significant increases here.

Here, too, the numbers have so far been significantly influenced by Corona.

2Gplus in particular slowed down the number of visitors again considerably.

Overall, the popularity is okay under these special circumstances.

We welcome you if you like.

Is there any feedback from users?

And if so: how does it turn out?

Dühring

: We have already received a lot of feedback from users. For this we have also set up a corresponding terminal in the entrance area. In many cases, these are tips, suggestions for improvement and advice on details. These are mostly justified and also really valuable. Of course, we will implement that as soon as possible. Examples are, for example, shelves in the showers or tips on signage / directional guidance. In the event of criticism, we endeavor to remedy this and to do better. But many also understand that things can get a little bumpy one time or another. But what we're particularly happy about is that many guests simply tell us that they liked it and that they think the bathroom is great. That of course inspires us.

Does the occupancy plan work?

Dühring

: The occupancy plan has already been adjusted a few times.

Only in real operation does it really become clear that some things have not proven themselves and therefore had to be rescheduled.

However, I have to praise our users concerned.

So far, we have been able to regulate this in partnership with them and have been very accommodating.

That is an understanding togetherness that we cultivate and for which we are grateful.

Are the schools using the bathroom as planned?

Dühring

: Most schools now use the bathroom.

Here, too, Corona has brought in one or the other ambiguity due to the frequently changing rules.

But in principle, most schools started using it.

Formal handover to the municipal utilities

The indoor swimming pool was built by the city of Geretsried, but it is now operated by the Stadtwerke.

Mayor Michael Müller handed over the symbolic key to Jan Dühring, director of the municipal utility, at the opening.

For the legal transfer, a management company had to be founded and the company statutes of the municipal utilities changed.

The opening balance was still missing.

The city council determined this retrospectively in its most recent meeting.

The bottom line is 14.9 million euros net.

"With that, the legal transfer is formally done," explained Nadine Steiner, who heads the finance department in Geretsried town hall, to the committee.
