An almost spring-like New Year's Eve is in store for the people in Upper Bavaria: The German Weather Service (DWD) predicts 14 degrees Celsius in Munich for the evening before the turn of the year - at the edge of the Alps it could apparently even a little more will.
Even when toasting in the garden at home, mittens will not be necessary: it should be 8 degrees in the late evening, even until New Year's morning, according to the forecast, the temperatures will not drop below 6 degrees.
There could be almost royal weather on the edge of the Alps.
