Disaster for Steffen Henssler: ARD stops cooking show due to poor ratings

Two months after the premiere of "Family Cooking Duel", ARD is stamping the format again.
The reason: bad odds.
The new cooking show with Steffen Henssler could not convince the TV viewers.
Hamburg – It should be the new cooking show in the first.
But the "family cooking duel" with Steffen Henssler (49) was not well received by TV viewers.
Now the show is being scrapped again after just two months.

Two families who cook against each other for a week - what sounds like a recipe for success for a successful cooking show was not convincing on TV.
Star chef Steffen Henssler, as moderator of the format, couldn't change that.

In contrast to "Grill den Henssler", with which Vox has had good ratings for years, "Family Cooking Duel" was only able to attract a few viewers in front of their home television sets.
According to quotenmeter.de, only 0.34 million people tuned in on average.
ARD throws "Family Cooking Duel" out of the program
Not enough for those responsible for the ARD.
If the slot was last shifted from the afternoon to the morning,
the "family cooking duel" is now finally over.
However, Steffen Henssler cannot always score with “Grill den Henssler”.
Most recently, the jungle special was panned mercilessly by many "Grill den Henssler" fans.
