The Assize Court of Palermo sentenced Pietro Morreale, 21, of Caccamo (Pa) to life imprisonment for murder.
He is accused of having murdered his girlfriend Roberta Siragusa, aged only 17, on the night between 23 and 24 January 2020. According to the accusation, Pietro argued with the victim during a dinner with friends.

The court sentenced the young man to pay damages to the victim's mother Iana Brancato for 225 thousand euros, to his father Filippo Siragusa for 229 thousand euros and to his brother Dario for 209 thousand euros and to his grandmother Maria Barone for 117 thousand euros. .
Pietro Morreale will have to compensate the Municipality of Caccamo with an executive provisional of 15 thousand euros.
